Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility safety protocols
- Report changes in patient condition to charge nurses
Qualifications
- Active Texas Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term facility experience
- BLS/CPR certification required (must be current)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to Fort Worth medical facilities
- Availability to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
