Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs and patient intake procedures with precision
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and exam rooms
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Administer injections and collect specimens as directed
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Georgia Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work 8-hour weekend shifts (7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
