Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs and patient intake assessments
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical supplies
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Handle patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
- Process insurance verifications and billing paperwork
- Administer basic injections and specimen collection
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Weekend availability mandatory (Fri-Sun)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
