Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Transport patients safely within the facility using appropriate equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient support
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments following infection control standards
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and address basic comfort needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or completion of approved training program
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with empathy and patience
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Flexible schedule availability including Saturdays and Sundays
- Reliable transportation to facility
