Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Operate store equipment, including registers, scanners, and safety tools, following all safety protocols.
- Adhere to company policies regarding loss prevention and cash handling procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer bases.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory counting.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
