Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medical equipment operation and sterilization procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling and record-keeping
- Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or relevant certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Valid Ohio driver's license if transporting patients
