Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure resident safety at all times
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Create a positive atmosphere through engaging resident activities
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass background check and drug screening
