Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic lab testsManage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Administer medications and injections per protocol
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Georgia state medical assistant license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (some weekends)
- Background check and drug screen required
