Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient intake, vital signs measurement, and ECG procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor medical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare and administer medications under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient education and follow-up care plans
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- BLS/CPR certification and willingness to maintain
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Commitment to weekly pay schedule and punctual reporting
