Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Prepare and maintain patient care documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CNA certification preferred (will train non-certified candidates)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (will provide training)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to various healthcare facilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
