Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight and materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, and accuracy before processing.
- Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles.
- Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counting activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or RF guns.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license (not always required, but a plus for warehouse roles).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
