Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs and EKGs
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Handle patient scheduling and phone inquiries
- Coordinate lab work and referrals
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in urgent care settings
- Arizona state license to practice
- Background check and drug screen required
