Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EMR systems with precision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate lab orders and specimen processing
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
