Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Coordinate with pharmacy for prescription refills
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, NextGen)
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual preferred
