Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and patient history documentation
- Prepare and maintain sterile medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Process laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests
- Manage electronic health records with HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong patient communication and empathy skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical environments
- Basic phlebotomy and ECG certification
