Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs and maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare and sterilize examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate laboratory services and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
