Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform vital signs and basic lab tests (EKG, phlebotomy)
- Update electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely
- Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk operations
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ohio state license or eligibility to obtain
