Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products and materials to and from storage areas, vehicles, and loading docks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition.
- Package and label items securely for shipping to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and company housekeeping standards.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily tasks and production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic math skills for reading labels, counting inventory, and handling cash (if applicable).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rotating shifts if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
