Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts in clinical settings
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for seamless patient transitions
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy experience preferred
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday schedules
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus
