Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end logistics strategies for 12 World Cup venues across Chicago
- Coordinate transportation networks including shuttles, public transit integration, and traffic management
- Oversee vendor contracts for catering, equipment, and security services
- Implement crowd control protocols and emergency response plans
- Manage $5M+ operational budgets with precise financial tracking
- Liaise with FIFA, local authorities, and hospitality partners
- Lead cross-functional teams across 15+ departments
Qualifications
- 7+ years in event logistics with major sporting events (Olympics, World Cup, etc.)
- Proven expertise in venue operations and crowd management
- PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification
- Advanced knowledge of Chicago's infrastructure and transportation systems
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $3M
- Fluency in English with Spanish/French preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends during event periods
