Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technological roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $2M+ annual budgets
- Forge strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 100 innovation labs
- Present breakthrough concepts at global forums like Web Summit and TechCrunch Disrupt
- Drive patent portfolios targeting 15+ core technology innovations by 2026
- Mentor PhD fellows and lead university collaboration programs
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neurotech applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough portfolio)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ years in future-tech verticals
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for federal collaboration projects
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
