Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging tech fields (quantum, bioinformatics, AR/VR)
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business growth targets
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Mentor 15+ engineers/researchers through agile development cycles
- Secure 3+ patents annually in future-facing technologies
- Present findings at global tech summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or Nature (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Proven track record of scaling tech teams from 10 to 50+
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and quantum programming
- Experience with federal grant applications (DARPA, NSF) preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global partnerships
