As a key member of our R&D division, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging trends, develop disruptive prototypes, and lead high-impact projects that position us as industry pioneers. You'll have autonomy to explore cutting-edge domains while leveraging our state-of-the-art innovation labs and $50M R&D budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Identify and analyze emerging trends through market research and horizon scanning
- Secure $2M+ in innovation grants and strategic partnerships
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to pilot launch
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an experimental culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, quantum computing)
- Strong analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
- Certification in innovation management preferred
