Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2035 global innovation strategy across quantum, AI, and sustainability domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and Fortune 500 innovation centers
- Translate complex emerging trends (quantum supremacy, AGI governance, climate tech) into executive roadmaps
- Drive cultural transformation to embed foresight methodologies across 500+ employee organization
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through data-driven innovation portfolio management
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership through keynotes and whitepapers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research roles
- Proven track record in launching commercialized technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, bioengineering, etc.)
- Exceptional stakeholder management with C-suite/board experience
- Published futurist research or patents in top-tier journals/conferences
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
