Responsibilities

- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Produce scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and market volatility
- Manage a portfolio of experimental R&D initiatives with $10M+ budget
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal shifts
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of scaling experimental initiatives to commercial success
- Expertise in AI ethics, climate resilience, or human augmentation trends
- Executive-level communication with ability to influence C-suite decisions
