Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics, quantum applications, biotech integration)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Mentor innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for futuristic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech startups
- Proven track record in launching market-defining products (3+ examples required)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite boards
- Published thought leadership in tech/futurism journals or conferences
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
