Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, bio-convergence) and market disruptors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present trend analysis and strategic forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, researchers, and venture partners
- Champion human-centered design principles in all innovation initiatives
- Quantify future market opportunities and risk-mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products/services
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, keynotes)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., from World Future Society) preferred
