Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align strategic priorities with emerging market trends
- Produce quarterly horizon-scanning reports identifying paradigm shifts in AI ethics, climate tech, and human augmentation
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused research institutions
- Design and launch 'Future Sandbox' programs incubating 2026's breakthrough technologies
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists using scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Published author or recognized thought leader in futurism/technology ethics (e.g., TED speaker, IEEE contributor)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with certification in Foresight Methodologies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Mastery of horizon scanning tools (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience developing ethical frameworks for AI/biotech convergence with Fortune 500 stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ technology roadmaps with measurable market impact
