Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends and societal shifts to develop actionable 2026 innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions across quantum AI, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business strategy
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members using data-driven predictive modeling
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive Horizon Labs' annual 'Future State' summit, showcasing 2026 technology milestones
- Mentor junior innovators in foresight methodologies and strategic thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field required
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Oxford Foresight Programme)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
