Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Curate an annual 'Future Outlook' industry forecast report
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable strategies
- Strong data visualization and scenario modeling skills
- Experience with Delphi method, SWOT, and PESTLE analyses
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation
