Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026-2035 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and business transformation initiatives
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership with data-backed confidence
- Champion innovation culture through internal education and external thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking expertise
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (TED Talks, Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
