Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2026+
- Develop and publish annual Horizon 2026 Strategic Outlook reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate resilience initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to embed future insights
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and innovation labs
- Present future scenarios at global forums including CES, Davos, and World Economic Summits
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of published trend analyses or white papers with industry impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and technology adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-oriented projects delivered to Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
