Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into product development and corporate strategy
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Curate and host global innovation summits featuring Nobel laureates and tech pioneers
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental prototyping initiatives
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurist researchers and data scientists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, tech innovation, or venture capital
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier tech publications
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and emerging market analysis
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 10M+ user impact
- Proficiency in scenario modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Fluency in at least two major programming languages (Python, R, Julia)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
