Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and present strategic innovation roadmaps with 5-10 year vision frameworks
- Lead immersive scenario-planning workshops for executive teams and key stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of emerging technologies
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic plans
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, trend analysis frameworks)
- Certification in futures studies or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio showcasing previous foresight projects or strategic roadmaps
