Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026+ tech trends using AI-driven analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum, bio-tech, and climate innovation
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Design strategic roadmaps for 10-year technology adoption cycles
- Partner with VCs and startups to scout breakthrough innovations
- Advise on policy frameworks for emerging tech governance
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research (e.g., in Nature Futures or MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI, and climate tech landscapes
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term tech strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives launched post-2020
