Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and market disruptors with 2026+ impact
- Develop and publish annual Future State Frameworks outlining strategic scenarios for industry evolution
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing strategies, risk mitigation, and innovation roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align product development with long-term technological trajectories
- Analyze global data streams to quantify future market opportunities and threats
- Present strategic foresight findings to boards and investors with data-driven narratives
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex future scenarios into actionable strategies
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Portfolio of published foresight work or thought leadership pieces (whitepapers, TED Talks, etc.)
