Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Produce trend forecasts and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from quantum computing, neurotech, and climate science
- Partner with venture teams to evaluate emerging startups and acquisition opportunities
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven narratives
- Build an internal foresight intelligence hub with real-time trend monitoring systems
- Author thought leadership publications on next-generation human-machine collaboration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating predictive accuracy for major tech/social shifts (2018-2023)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and weak signal detection
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future-proofing strategies
- Proficiency in trend visualization tools (e.g., Gephi, Tableau)
- Published thought leader in futurism or innovation ecosystems
