Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and government relations teams
- Develop predictive models for societal and market disruptions using proprietary foresight frameworks
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and global innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at Davos-type forums
- Oversee $50M innovation fund allocation for 2026-2030 projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years applied foresight experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and commercializing emerging tech trends (2018-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience securing government grants and international consortium funding
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from future-oriented initiatives
