Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and EU research labs to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present strategic foresight insights to board members and investors using data-driven storytelling
- Establish FutureWorks as the industry authority through whitepapers, keynote speeches, and thought leadership
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies to ensure responsible innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and commercialization (quantum/AI/biotech focus)
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, scenario planning)
- Experience leading cross-cultural innovation teams in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence (AI+IoT+Biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology foresight (Harvard Business Review, WIRED, etc.)
