Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum-secure communications and neuroadaptive AI systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis identifying emerging tech disruptions (biotech, nanotech, climate AI)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems in regulated industries
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and venture partners on market-shaping innovations
- Manage $25M+ R&D budget allocation for breakthrough projects
- Patent and publish breakthrough solutions in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, AI Systems, or Futurism with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or neural-symbolic AI
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
- Patent portfolio with 10+ granted US/international patents
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption scenarios
- Certified in Futurist Methodology (AFS) and Systems Thinking
