Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026-2030 markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for clients in sectors including biotech, quantum computing, and decentralized finance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing organizational resilience
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of innovators, academics, and policy influencers
- Quantify market opportunities and risks through predictive modeling and scenario analysis
- Adv executive stakeholders on ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum applications, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences on complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Finland Futures Research Centre)
