Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators and technological convergence points to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into executable roadmaps
- Author whitepapers and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Identify strategic partnerships in emerging ecosystems (Web3.0, climate tech, personalized medicine)
- Maintain proprietary trend database with real-time signal detection capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing successful long-term innovation strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, synthetic biology, advanced materials)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
