Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead executive workshops to align leadership on future opportunities, threats, and disruptive technologies
- Produce high-impact whitepapers and visualizations translating complex future scenarios into stakeholder communications
- Establish and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for horizon scanning
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing business models and revenue streams
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Minimum 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Track record of publishing thought leadership in futurist publications or industry journals
- Proficiency in futures tools like Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, and Systems Dynamics modeling
