Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain predictive models for technological, societal, and economic trends through 2026
- Produce comprehensive trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future opportunities and risks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies across the organization
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Advise product development teams on emerging technologies with 5-7 year adoption horizons
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and horizon scanning
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven storytelling
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or quantum computing trend analysis preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating complex strategic foresight projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) highly valued
