Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, analyzing quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging risks/opportunities in biotech, AI governance, and decentralized systems
- Author strategic white papers and executive briefings on technological singularity implications
- Partner with venture capital arm to scout and integrate breakthrough startups into our ecosystem
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Present future-vision keynotes at industry summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience mapping 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in journals like Nature Futures or IEEE Technology & Society
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption curves
- Portfolio demonstrating transformational impact through tech-driven innovation
