Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech innovation
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for collaborative research
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and Board of Directors quarterly
- Mentor senior engineers and scientists through the FutureVision Fellowship program
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies with 15+ filings annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Expertise in AI governance frameworks and ethical tech implementation
- Proven track record scaling R&D teams from 10 to 50+ members
- Proficiency in quantum algorithm development and blockchain architecture
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF, DOE)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
