Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for 2026-era optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum systems with classical cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate quantum error correction protocols
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning applications
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM SIGPLAN
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and CUDA programming
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave Advantage)
