Job Description
Join the quantum revolution at Nexus Quantum Labs, where we're building the computational infrastructure for 2026. As a Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design scalable quantum systems that solve problems currently impossible for classical computers. Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum processors, optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications, and collaborate with Nobel laureates to push the boundaries of physics and computer science.
We offer a groundbreaking compensation package, including equity in our Series B startup and access to state-of-the-art quantum hardware. This is your chance to shape the technological landscape of the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead R&D on quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Author technical whitepapers and patents for quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at international conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
