- Develop novel error correction protocols achieving <0.001% fault rates
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Partner with NASA and MIT on quantum-resistant cryptography projects
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants for experimental quantum systems
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years designing fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Track record of securing government/industry research funding
- Patents in quantum error correction or topological qubits
