Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum computing systems targeting 2026 scalability milestones
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization and cryptography
- Mentor a team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and publish in Nature/Science
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Drive industry standards for quantum computing security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or fault-tolerant systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
